New for Autumn Planting

Exciting new products for a beautiful Spring Garden

Spring bulbs add colour and interest to every garden. Brightening the shortest days,  bulbs give a  blaze of colour in the drab early days of Spring.

Bulbs come in so many colours. Plant drifts of a single species or colour, or mix different varieties to create striking effects.

Plant bulbs in autumn and enjoy a beautiful spring display. Choose from a wide selection of Daffodils, Narcissus, Hyacinths, Tulips, Snowdrops Muscari....all ready to plant for spectacular colour!

A kitchen garden is not complete without onions. Planting onion sets in the autumn will provide a supply for early next summer when stored bulbs are scarce and before next season’s maincrop are ready.

Garlic

Plant garlic directly in the ground or start them off in small pots if  the soil is heavy. Garlic can also be successfully grown in pots, tubs and containers.

Wild birds often pull up newly planted garlic cloves so it is advisable to cover them until they have rooted in. (Horticultural fleece is suitable and available in Garden Shop.)

Plant: September - December for June harvest.
